Orchard Creek Overlook

This new house was designed for a young family of four in search of a large scenic lot in the suburbs. The house’s design was influenced by modern vacation homes that can be found in the western US, such as Jackson Hole. The house was sited in order to take advantage of panoramic views of adjacent protected wetlands. Each of the bedrooms and great room on the main level have their own unique view of the expansive landscape. The house’s layout was organized around three wings, with connecting links between. Features of the house include a vaulted great room with exposed white oak beams, a copious amount of glazing, and a lower-level custom golf simulator. The house was featured on the 2023 Artisan Home Tour.
